The L6-S is a bit of an oddball in Gibson history.

This guitar has a solid maple body and set maple neck with an ebony fingerboard and chrome hardware throughout. Schaller M-6 tuning keys, harmonica bridge, and L-6S humbuckers.

The L-6S controls were devised by Bill Lawrence, and consisted three, 300K potentiometers (volume, midrange and tone) and a six-way varitone switch. Each position offers a different pickup arrangement and series/parallel and in/out phase options.

The L6-S is one of Gibson's most versatile models. This guitar has been well-loved and features various dings and scratches which are shown in photos. Also includes original hardshell case
